The will of John Puckett (Jr) is part of the loose records of Henrico County, Virginia. It is at the FamilySearch website as 'Wills, Deed 2, etc, 1650-1807', Vol 2, p.429 (Digital Film #007898202, Item 2, image 40 of 185).
The book in which John Puckett's will was recorded was lost. Christine South Gee was unaware of the existence of this will when she wrote the book The roots and some of the branches of the Puckett family tree, published in 1958. The loose records of Henrico Co, VA were sorted and prepared by the Colonial Dames of America in 1926, and microfilmed by LDS in 1947, but few people were aware of these records.
